In Hybrid mode on a Cat6509 with MSFC1/Sup1a. Is it possible for the MSFC1 to boot form SUP-SLOT0: and if so How ?

Yes it can but you NEED to have bootldr image in the MSFC bootflash for this. Just point the bootldr variable pointing to the MSFC bootflash and IOS boot variable pointing to sup-slot0:
