I'm trying to set the MTU on a Cisco 2611XM router that will use that particular value when traversing through the router. For example, when accessing a resource that resides on the outer interface of the router, I want client computers to adjusts its MTU value to that of the router. This way I won't have to make changes to the MTU settings on the client computers. Any ideas? So far, setting it on the router using the ip mtu command does not work for the internal hosts.
Thanks,
JK
