On a campus switched LAN, we use geografic VLAN.
We want to have several customer to use the architecture.
Core layer is 4006 with SUPIII
Is is possible to use VRF solution to separate geografic VLAN routing for each customer ?
How and where is to execute an secure routing beetween customer VRF.
thanks

Hi,
there is a feature called 'vrf lite' which gives you the possiblity the have several and seperated routing tables on one machine without the need of mpls in your network.
But i don't think that this feature is available on the SupIII up to now.
So if you have a router , perhaps a 3640 or something, you could link this over an trunk to your Cat4006 and do the vrf routing on this router.
Perhaps that helps you a bit,
Udo

Hi,
Thanks for the response.
The vrf-lite is Multi-VRF CE.
I test it on a 3550-12G, it is ok but i have an error message:
2d03h: %L3TCAM-3-SIZE_CONFLICT: VRF requires enabling extended routing.
I don't know what is extended routing ?
How can i configure it ?

To resolve the 2d03h: %L3TCAM-3-SIZE_CONFLICT: VRF requires enabling extended routing message i make the cmd :
router#sdm prefer extended-match
and a reload
Thanks
