multicast failover

Hi

There are two Routers running HSRP for the VLAN.

When the primary router is down, the unicast resume within a few seconds because of the HSRP configured.

It takes around 3-4 minutes for the multicast to resume. Studying shows the client IGMP joined with the primary router (PIM-DR), when it is down, the secondary router need to wait for 3 -4 minutes.

Any solution to this?

I have found the solution: put IP PIM query-timeout 1
