Inside the administatively scope Multicast address block (239.0.0.0-239.255.255.255.0), the range

239.192.0.0-239.251.0.0 is reserved for organization-local scope.

Questions.

1) Is it correct to use the range 239.192.0.0-

239.251.0.0 for a multicast private network

(same role of the RFC1918 defined private ranges

for Unicast address, e.g. 10.0.0.0/8) ?

2) the range 239.0.0.0-239.191.0.0 is reserved by

IANA. For which purpose ?
