Multicast , with HSRP, flooding with all the interfaces

I configured a two Router with multicast anf Hsrp,

with the next commands:

ip multicast-routing

interface GigabitEthernet1.X ( X=1,20,40,50)

ip pim dense-mode

ip cgmp

This configuration is simetric in the 2 Routers.

The conection of this Routers is trought 2 Swithes with trunk.

And the resutl when I use a program Rembo is that flooding all the network: Two Routers in all this interfaces have flooding:

GigabitEthernet1.50, Forward/Dense

GigabitEthernet1.40, Forward/Dense,

GigabitEthernet1.20, Forward/Dense,

GigabitEthernet1.2, Forward/Dense,

I don´t Know if the configuration is wrong or is the application.

I am not clear what you are attempting to accomplish and exactly what your issue is. But when you configure both routers for multicast routing and you configure all interfaces for ip pim dense-mode, then you have asked for a lot of flooding of multicast. The basic assumption of dense mode is that it will flood the multicast on all interfaces periodically and then prune back as it identifies interfaces where there are no active listeners.

If you are concerned about the amount of multicast flooding, then I suggest that you consider using sparse mode or perhaps sparse-dense mode. Sparse mode is designed to only send multicast to segments where there is an active listener.
