Hi
Please I need to know if I have to conifure ip pim sparse-dense-mode on all the VLANs in my environment for multicast routing to work. Presently, I have it only configured on VLANs which I know should be participating in multicasting.
Thanks

It all depends how you configure your Multicast routing & RP's.
Here's a doc which explains it well:

Hello
If you have L3 vlans you DONT want to receive MC then no need to apply it.
