Hello,

I have three 3550 on all the Vlan segment and on DHCP server on vlan1.

HSRP is configured on any Vlan with these three 3550.

I whant to configure a DHCP-Relay on any of these 3550 because of reduduncy.

My question is : Is there any solution to permit only the 3550 who is the HSRP active router to forward DHCP paquet and other when the two other 3550 do not forward it ???

I believe the "standby" routers in the group will not forward broadcasts while in standby state. Each router should have a helper address configured, but only the active interface at the time will actually forward as the dhcp relay.
