multiple interfaces with same mac address

We are currently building a network to connect several large SUN servers that have multiple ethernet interface cards. These cards by default will have the same mac address. They will be in separate VLANs and connected to 4507 switches running layer 3 switching. The question is if the servers have multiple interfaces all with the same mac address will it work providing they are in separate VLANs? If there is any documentation on the cisco web site could someone please point me in the right direction

As long as they in seperate vlan's this will work, but make sure that you don't

accidently have somewhere a device bridging between the vlan's

Hi

Not to sure about the 4507, but last week we discoverd this does not work on a 1924, but works fine on a 2950c.

Cheers
