we have cisco 1750 router: we got 15 ip address from out ISP. 203.x.x.x -15
Now i want to use NAT to share connection with LAN private address.(192.168.2.0)
Q1 What would be better NAT or Proxy server ?
Q2 Can i restrict some user not accssing internet with help of NATTING How ?
How can i achive it plz. guide me set by set i am an novice.

ans to que 1 ..natting is hardware based so its beeter as compared to proxy.but in proxy it automattically cache the web page. which a router cant.

definattly u can stop individuals to access internet. while configuring the natting u must have created the access list . generally we set that access list to permit any or permit with the network range using in out lan . in that access list the first statement should be to deny that ip to which u want to stop the access to internet . hope this helps u out. and dont forget to rate this
