Does it matter the nat syntax for a subinterace?

1. ip nat inside source list 1 interface serial0.1 overload

2. ip nat inside source list 1 interface serial0:1 overload ?

Both of these lines are correct but only line 1 is a sub-interface.

Line 2 is a channelized T1/T3 interface.
