New Daylight Time...

I have 30 3550 switches and 2 VPN 3005 Concentrator's that need to be fixed for the new Daylight Time changes enacted by Congress. I was wondering if anyone knows when the new codes will be ready to go?

For reference:

Old Daylights Saving Time - first Sunday in April till the last Sunday in October

New Daylights Saving Time - 2nd Sunday in March till the 1st Sunday in November

There is already a feature in the IOS that will allow you set to whatever PDT is set in your location. See below. The feature below allows you to set the start and end of daylight saving time according to your parameters, it can be done a one time with "recurring" keyword.

<1-4> Week number to start

first First week of the month

last Last week of the month

router(config)#clock summer-time PDT recurring 2 ?

DAY Weekday to start

router(config)#clock summer-time PDT recurring 2 Sunday ?

MONTH Month to start

hh:mm Time to start (hh:mm)
