Hi, I have a Newbridge but if I wanted to replace the Newbridge 3600 what kind of WAN switch or router I could use to replace it. I don't know these switches but I know Cisco WAN switches, so if somebody has used Newbridge I'd really appreciate your help.
Thanks!

First, I do not know anything about Newbridge.
You need to determine what services you are running on the the 3600, ATM, Frame Relay, X.25, voice etc.
Once you have determined this you can make a choice as to a Cisco equivalent. If the above services are used you might want to look at the Cisco MGX switches.

Hi,
Newbridge 3600 is a TDM multiplexer, which can also be a FR switch if FRS or FRE cards are used.. If U can tell me what cards are in use.. I can suggest an equivalent model in IGX..
1. Is 3600 single shelf or dual shelf.
2. What cards are in use.. Press Config (F1) .. Slot(F1) ... Show all (F6).
I would suggest a IGX 8420 would be an equivalent for a dual shelf 3600.
