Hi All,
i would like some advice with regards to a special case. attaching a diagram where i have a new vpc pair and one of the nexus is having a L3 point to point with an upstream L3 switch (4900). Apparently this is not a supported topology and wondering what option do i have in order to enable the L3 between both Nexus and the 4900?
At the moment it looks like all the hosts that are either orphan on Core 2 or through dual homed access switches again on nexus core 2 are facing connectivity issues with internet or external network. i managed to fix some of these by shutting down the port on the core 2 and apparently forcing all traffic through core 1
thanks

in this Doc. since the 4900 is attach to only one NSK so the case is smaller to L3-A in this doc.

you have only two choose
1- router port between the NSK and 4900
2- config SVI in each NSK and 4900 and config L2 between SW.

for Number 2 , does it have to be a HSRP on the nexus side and a Portchannel on the 4900 towards the 2 nexus?
