No Time-out for "Active" Users

This is my problem:

Cisco 3640 is my NAS.

Dialup users NEVER shutdown PCs even when they are asleep. Morever, they keep the outlook client open so they are always active and connected so the idle time out won't kick them out (I just love my users).

What I want to do is to configure the c3640 to kick all users out at midnight for example. or kick any "Active" user that have been connected for 8 hours.

Displaying somekind of message to the windows dialup client before kicking them out would be a great add-on.

Thank you,

Depends on how you authenticate users.

If you use AAA use your ACS (access control server) configuration and you can have anyway you want.

If you use local authentication you are restricted to a simpler option:

establish an absolute timeout on the access lines (in line config mode).

Please note that if you do not have access to your ACS config the absolute-timeout will still work even if you use tacacs/radius for authentication.
