Non Zero CPI (Common Part Indicator) and CRC-32 errors.

When pinging, my hp analyzer flags Non Zero CPI and CRC-32 errors in the EOM Cell, before entering the ATM cloud The Ping does not time - out.

Config:

PC ---- 5500 ---- CLOUD ---- 2924 ---- PC

It's my understanding that the CPI should be 0. I'm assuming this is the cause of the CRC errors as well? Is this correct? If so, what should be checked?
