NW-1FE2W+WIC-1T clockrate 2000000 serial default command

I buy a new NW-1FE2W to my 3640 router ( IOS 12.2 );when I insert de WIC-1T card; the clockrate 2000000 command apears in the config of the interface.

The router does not accept a command to remove this.

This is correct ? This will work normaly as a DTE device ?

I dont want to clock the line !

Hi,

The default clockrate may be added to 12.2 IOS version, it may not cause you

any harm in the router functionality. It will work as a DTE interface which derives the clock from the DCE. Hope this helps.
