I installed a NM-1T3/E3 module in one cisco 2621xm and the "sh ver" command seems to show that the router is recognizing it:
**************************************************
ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 12.2(8r) [cmong 8r], RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
Router uptime is 15 minutes
System returned to ROM by power-on
System image file is "flash:c2600-is-mz.122-15.T11.bin"
cisco 2621XM (MPC860P) processor (revision 0x301) with 125952K/5120K bytes of me
mory.
Processor board ID FOC08270Y1J (3675564407)
M860 processor: part number 5, mask 2
Bridging software.
X.25 software, Version 3.0.0.
2 FastEthernet/IEEE 802.3 interface(s)
1 Subrate T3/E3 ports(s)
32K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
32768K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)
Configuration register is 0x2102
***************************************************
But the I cannot configure it.The command "conf t" doesn't provide options useful and I've attached the results of the command "sh int":
I unsuccessfully tried to replace the router (I cannot replace the module as I have only one) and I tried to digit the following command unsuccessfully,so, my question is: by supposing that I'm using the right IOS as I believe (c2600-is-mz.122-15.T11.bin), there are chances that cisco2621xm is not the right chassis for a T3/E3 module?

I tried putting your chassis and NM into the Software Advisor, and looking for IP-Plus (is-mz) versions. There were plenty of versions that support it, but surprisingly not of them were 12.2 T . There was 12.2(2)XT, and 12.2(11)YT2, and about 20 others, but no 12.2T. I don't know whether I am misreading it - perhaps someone else could have a go.

You need 2650 XM or above for T3 interfaces.
Thanks.

Sorry, but where do you read that information from? It seems to disagree with the Software Advisor. The SA says that, for example, 2621XM and NM1T3/E3 is supported by these IP Plus images, amongst others:
12.3(12) c2600-is-mz.123-12
12.2(15)ZJ5 c2600-is-mz.122-15.ZJ5
12.2(11)YT2 c2600-is-mz.122-11.YT2
12.2(8)YN c2600-is-mz.122-8.YN
12.2(2)XT c2600-is-mz.122-2.XT
12.2(2)XN c2600-is-mz.122-2.XN
12.2(4)XL c2600-is-mz.122-4.XL
12.2(2)XK c2600-is-mz.122-2.XK
12.2(2)XG c2600-is-mz.122-2.XG
12.2(2)XB7 c2600-is-mz.122-2.XB7
12.2(2)XA c2600-is-mz.122-2.XA
etc. .... and even by general deployments 12.0(27), 12.1(25), 12.2(1d) but no plain 12.2 "T"s, which is very strange.
It wouldn't be the first time the SA is wrong on such things, but do you have a reference for your information? OTOH, what you say does seem to be corroborated by this:
It's all not very clear.

I think I found it - there was something at the back of my mind about this ....
Try the command card type T3, perhaps followed by the slot number. You may find that that will activate the card. If it does, please let us know.
Here is a document that seems to agree with what rais says, because it only lists 265x as supporting the module:
It seems also to suggest you need 12.2(11)YT. I'm confused!

Sorry, we crossed there. I was adding that document to edit of my previous posting to corroborate what you say as you were typing tha above. I really don't know - I'm getting conflicting signals. I shall bow out and watch with interest how it resolves. Thanks again.

Many thanks for your help. We used the command "card type" and then "controller e3" and we were able to see the module
