To enable ospf you must start in global configuration mode and enter the command router ospf where is a number that you choose for the OSPF process. Then you must enter at least one network command of the format network a.a.a.a m.m.m.m area where a.a.a.a is a valid IP address, subnet, or network and m.m.m.m is a valid inverse subnet mask and is a valid area number. There must be at least one IP address on the router in an up/up state to function as the Router ID for OSPF.
To enable EIGRP you must start in global configuration mode and enter the command router eigrp where is the Autonomous System Number you have chosen for eigrp. You must then enter at least one network statement of the format network a.a.a.a where a.a.a.a is a valid Network address.
To redistribute ospf to eigrp you must enter this command under the eigrp process: redistribute ospf where is the process number you used when you started the ospf process. It is also required to specify a default metric under eigrp when redistributing ospf into eigtp. You can do this under the eigrp process with a specific default-metric command or you can specify the metric parameters as options on the redistribute command.
