need assistance. have two routers at the headend, core1 and core2. both these core routers connect to a common backbone switch and are running OSPF. a remote site has a single router with a separate pvc (pvc1 and pvc2)to each of the core routers.
I need to force traffic to specific destination subnets behind the core routers over their respective pvc (pvc1 and pvc2), configuring policy routing at the remote routers is an option, but with 800+ routers, centralizing this at the core is preferable, is there a feature in OSPF similiar to offset-list or distance commands used in RIP to modify the cost of routes advertised from each core router to the remote site.
OSPF is the only routing protocol and there are only 2 areas. the wan cloud is area 1 and backbone area behind the router is area 0.
any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated

If you want to change the metrics of OSPF then just use the ip ospf cost command.

I am unaware of any method that will allow you to do a selective metric change in OSPF. Like Jason suggested you can alter the cost associated with an interface and this will directly influence the metric calculation through that router, however, it will basically influence metrics for all subnets reachable through that interface.
