Out-of-band management for 7204 using FE port

Hi,

Can someone help?

The network diagram as below:-

Internal network --|FW|--|7204|--External Network

****************************|

****************************|

*********************Management Vlan

As you can see above, I have 3 FE interfaces and I am trying to make use of one to configure it to act as a management port.

Is this possible?

It's easy:

create a management vrf and use the FE port in it.

Hi Harlod,

If you have separate Management VLAN or segment , Plug the cable from third FE port and assign Management plan ip address for accessibility.
