OUTPUT DROPS- Common problem

This seems to be a common problem for most of us. We see only output drops ( on ethernet, serial) increasing and no other errors like CRC, input, input drops, etc varying.Cisco Doc recommends to use queueing techniques to overcome this problem. This problem occurs very intermittently like bursts and is back to normal after sometime in my scenario. Is there a solution for this problem?

Output drops are occured because of less buffers in the queue, either you can tune your queues or increase the queues

using " hold-queue out " command . This can be because of some line noise problems.
