Hello all -->
I have a Cat 2950 w/ 2 Gb ports. One of the ports, Gig 0/1, is showing 'output flow-control on, input flow-control is off'.
For some reason, I can't turn the output flow-control off. Why is that?
Only reason I ask, is that this port has been having intermittent problems, i.e. --> the port shuts down periodically.
Any help is appreciated.

Hello,
have you tried the no flowcontrol command in interface configuration mode?
AFAIK, the output flow-control on and input flow-control off only indicates whether output flow control is supported or not on that interface.

You can trun it off by
going in int and deliver the coomand "flow control send off" " flow control recive off"
