hello,
at my shop we current have 8540 serving as our wan block. We are currently using lane. We would like to migrate to POS. the question I have is can we introduce POS and have it run concurrently with ATM LANE. also I have not seem many how to literiture and you refer me to some urls. We have 5 location and each location has dual 8540. below I have included the show haredware from one of our systems

You can have POS and LANE in the same switch but not LANE over POS.

Can you refer me to documentation. in particular the how to. From what I understand all you need to do is assign a port to be POS configure an IP and thats it. Is this correct? or is there more than meets the eye. Thank you for your response.
