Packet Tracer 13.3.12 Admin PC Request Timeout Help?

i was doing the 13.3.12 lab and made a small mistake with the default gateway address so I tried to go back and change it only to be met by a blank web browser and it saying Request Timeout.I kept reentering the website https://192.168.200.254 In the web browser only get met with it saying Request Timeout. I tried closing packet tracer and reopening the lab and trying again only for it to brick again and again. Is there a way to get back in and fix the error I made or am I forced to start from scratch and pray it doesn't hit me with a Request Timeout before I can finish the lab? I am getting extremely frustrated and would appreciate the help.

Hello,

I probably misread your post, but you were saying:

--> .I kept reentering the website https://192.168.200.254 In the web browser only get met with it saying Request Timeout.

You sent your Packet Tracer project file. When I open the file, there is no physical connectivity between the WLC and the switch. The switch also is not configured correctly. This results in the 'Request timeout' error (see attached screenshot 'WLC_NOT_CONNECTED').

I revised the file (see attached screenshot 'WLC_CONNECTED), resulting in the requested webpage being displayed.

What other problem/issue are you trying to resolve ?

@Georg Pauwen,

Here the IP addessing scheme for this lab. IP address 192.168.200.254/24 is for management access to WLC-1.

Addressing Table
R1 > G0/0/0.5 > 192.168.5.1/24
R1 > G0/0/0.200 > 192.168.200.1/24
R1 > G0/0/1 > 172.31.1.1/24
SW1 > VLAN 200 > 192.168.200.100/24
LAP-1 > G0 > DHCP
WLC-1 > Management > 192.168.200.254/24
RADIUS/SNMP Server > NIC > 172.31.1.254/24
Admin PC > NIC > 192.168.200.200/24

Hello,

you need to add a connection from the WLC to the switch, and since you are not using the default Vlan (1), but Vlan 200, configure the interface (GigabitEthernet1/0/2) that connects the WLC to the switch for Vlan 200.

Attached the revised file.

What does this have to do with The Request Timeout issue I have with the admin PC web browser? And According to the lab it says the only thing I missed was the default gateway, so I have no idea where all that other stuff is needed.

it seems that I somehow deleted the connection, but I was able to go back and add in the default gateway I missed.
