hi

will there be any problems if i hve 2 different playout delay modes in my routers between which i m using VOIP.

one end its adaptive and one end its fixed.is this only related to the jitter buffer on the respective locations or to do anything with the remote peer also ?

From the below document, playout delay should be configured in dial-peer configuration mode on the VoIP dial peer that is on the receiving end of the voice traffic that is to be buffered. So I guess it should have something to do with the remote peers. I guess it would be best to leave it at adaptive. not sure if there would be issues with 2 different modes configured on the router.
