not sure if I understand your question. However you can try the the service contract center

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/front.x/scccibdispatch?AppName=ContractAgent&Form=Home

Click the pull down menu and select 'Serial Number'.

is it any way which can do the job without any cisco service contract.

said, if I have a serial no, and I want to verify the product.

I have a case cat5500, the power suppy's label is B verison, but show system is B version, and the IOS compiled at 1999,is later after the B version production.

so the CAT os should show up the B version

what should I do next ?
