POE on a 4500

Hi have a Catalyst 4500 with POE redundant power supplyes (PWR-C45-1300ACV). The only module supporting POE installed is a: WS-X4506-GB-T.

I am not able to change the port power configuration, like if do not have access to the "power" command.

I am running 12.2(25)EW version of IOS.

Anybody have an idea of how to get power on one of these ports.

Hi Friend,

Are you trying this on interface config mode.

Switch# configure terminal

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

Switch(config)# interface fastethernet 4/1

Switch(config-if)# power inline auto

Switch(config-if)# end

Switch#

I already tried. Looks like if the "power" command is not a valid command for the interface configuration:

sw4500(config)#int gi 7/3

sw4500(config-if)#power inline auto

^

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

module seven is my board supporting POE.
