We get a lot of PoE error messages:
C3650#show log
Aug 4 10:47:23.223 MET: %ILPOWER-5-IEEE_DISCONNECT: Interface Gi1/0/1: PD removed
Aug 4 10:47:23.224 MET: %ILPOWER-3-CONTROLLER_PORT_ERR: Controller port error, Interface Gi1/0/1: Power given, but Power Controller does not report Power Good
C3650#show power inline | i 1/0/1
Gi1/0/1 auto faulty 0.0 n/a n/a 30.0
We receive these PoE error messages on switch ports which don't have any PoE devices connected. To be more specific, we see this mainly happening on ports which have very old (10Mbit/HalfDuplex) devices connected.
C3650#sh int status | i 1/0/1
Gi1/0/1 connected 903 a-half a-10 10/100/1000BaseTX
These devices don't have any PoE capabilities. However, the switch seems to think they do:
C3650#sh platform ilpower port GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 | i PD Detected
PD Detected Yes
Even after the specific port is disconnected (patch cable removed) the switch detects a PoE device...
All system behind these "faulty" ports seem to function propperly.
Anybody an idea how to resolve this?

There is obviously some underlying issue here maybe ios problem but as a quick fix you could try turn POE off for the specific port if its not required
power inline never

Saw the same issue with an old voicemail device that was connected via 10bt to AUI interface adapter. PoE had to be disabled, and all was well.
