Two part issue,
Does anyone know what the part number is for a Cat 4000 AC power supply? Can only find supplies for the new 4500. Is it the same power supply?
I'll be setting up a cat 4003 with two new 10/100/1000 blades, part # WS-X4448-GB-RJ45. Once I get the second power supply (above), Do I need to upgrade my IOS?
any input, thanks!

Hi,
Here the part number: WS-X4008=
For the Upgrade part you did not mention which OS you are running. The Modules is supported with a minimum of 12.1(8a)EW.

Thanks Corey. I should mention I have a Cat 4003 with CatOs 5.2(1). 5.5(18) is out now. I will most likely upgrade to that version before I insert the cards.
Thanks much.

the WS-X4448-GB-RJ45 requires a minimum CatOS of 7.1.1a and the recommended version is 7.4(3) or later.
you can use the release notes to check hardware software compatibility.

Ah ha, I see I am quite a few revs behind. Not my fault, inherited network ;)
Thanks for the input. I'll investigate the caveats of the revs.
