Solved: problem installation Cisco Works CD one 4th edition

I have a problem to install the first CD of my Cisco Works 2000 .

I have a W2k Professional with SP 2 . All the requirements of the installation guide are fulfilled . But if i will start the application there is now ICON to start the desktop .

Any solution for this problem ?

I do not fully understand your problem. You mentioned 'no icon to start the desktop'?

If you are trying to launch CW2000 simply start your browser and put in your servers hostname/IP followed by the port number for CW2000 (1741).

Ex. http://yourservername:1741 and this will launch CW2000 (for IE make sure Java VM is enabled)
