Hi I've upgrade the MSFC card on the supervisor to MSFC2 but it doesn't recognize the new msfc2 card. I guess I did all in the right way but maybe I have missed one step. I upgraded the DRAM memory to 128MB, I upgraded the IOS to the cat6000-supk8.8-3-3.bin version I aligned the conectors in the supervisor engine, this is basycally what I did.
Can I get some help to solve my problem?
Thanks a lot
Regards

The MSFC2 might be in rommon. Issue a "switch console" from a console session and try to recover. The following page should help

Issue a "dir bootflash:" and see if you have a IOS file which starts with file name "c6msfc2-xxxxxx.bin".
If you do, set a boot variable using command
conf t
boot system flash bootflash:c6msfc2-xxxxxx.bin
config-register 0x2102
end
wr mem
If you reload at this point, it should boot up with full functional IOS. If you do not have an IOS image in bootflash, TFTP one into the bootflash.
