Queue Size of cisco switches

Hi!

I want to know how much input/output queue sizes(in pkts or bytes) cisco switches(e.g., catalyst 2970G) have. I searched whole the internet but the one thing I found was the size DRAM of the switches.

Furthermore, 'show interfaces' command is supposed to show the number of packets in INPUT/OUTPUT queues but the results are always 0/75(max, input) and 0/40(max, output). The maximum sizes(75, 40 pkts) are unconvinceable either.

Please help me with this issue!

The Cisco Catalyst 2970 Series Switch supports four egress queues per port.
