Hello,
If I have got a 802.1q port (on server with 802.1q NIC by exemple) configured with "spanning-tree portfast" only on 4506 with sup 4, have we got a STP recalculation (convergence < 3 sec) on this port or should I precise the command "spanning-tree portfast trunk" in order to have fast convergence ?
Best regards.

Hello,
this command works in tandem with the switchport mode trunk command. So it only makes sense to configure spanning-tree portfast trunk when the switchport of your server is actually configured as a trunk.
