RAS password

Hi,

We are using 2620 router for all the users who dial into our network and get connected. Currently IT team with the username also have to assign the password and provide them to the users. This is not very secure, what we are looking for is that when user dial-in to the router they should be able to change there password themselves so can anyone please help me finding the solution.

You will have to use radius and MS-CHAP V2:

MSCHAP V2 authentication introduces an additional feature not available with MSCHAP V1 or standard CHAP authentication, the change password feature. This feature allows the client to change the account password if the RADIUS server reports that the password has expired.
