Cisco have IOS based routers now so you can have 827, SOHO77 etc..677 is not yet EOS..Tejal

EOS stands for End Of Support..67x dsl cpe's have CBOS, Cisco Broadband Operating System..in which you need to use the "set commands..." to configure it...New generation DSL cpe's like 82x etc runs on IOS which is "Internetwork Operating System" which has a better and easy to use Command Line Interface..tejal
