reserve banwidth to dadicate

i need to dedicate the 1Mbps of total internet back bone's to some specific range ip,im using 3550 with LX madule as backbone, NOte. i know its easy to set bandwidth on an interface but so what when another user can use over 1mbps and poor is the my new building of bandwidth... only the generic information would be enough

From your question, I guess you want to allocate bandwidth on a 3550 to a group of IP addresses. If my understanding is correct, you can use the QoS feature available on 3550 for your requirement Check this link for more details :
