Reset 1721 Router

I want reset the 1721 router, please advise the commend to reset and clear internal memory, like brand new config.

Look for resetting the router. It will take rebooting the router and going to rommon and setting the config-register to 0x2142 which means ignore the start-up.

Hi

Reset the router, press " ctrl break " key, it will going in to rom mode, change the config register value"0X2142" by using config-register command , after it will skip nvram boot and you can change enable password in cisco, after that back to normal config value , so next time will login into router , with new password ,
