RME 3.3 and Configuration Management.

Hello!

I have a problem with Configuration Management from RME 3.3 on WinNT.

When I try to Update Archive and select a device from list the operation fails!

Probable Cause: failed to initiate telnet session, cannot resolve host PIPPO!!!

But I don't have DNS, only host file is populated!

If I try telnet from CW2000 server and it is ok!

Why this?

Is your device credentials correct?. Also, have you added the device in RME with name?. Is so, delete and re-add it back with it's ip address and then retry.

Yes, device credentials are correct.

I have added the device in RME with name and DIServer cannot resolve host name! With it's IP address I can import device correctly.
