RME Import Error: could not commit groups and annotations

Hi,

When manually adding devices to RME, I get some devices come up in "Not Responding" with the following status error: "could not commit groups and annotations".

Does anyone know what this means and why it happens?

Thanks.

This is a bug in CiscoWorks. You can contact TAC and get the patch. The other option is when you are importing devices, watch the status of the devices. If the number of "Not Responding" devices start rising rapidly, go to the "Pending" queue and suspend one of the devices with a "*". This will requeue the devices with the status "could not committ groups..." in the "Not Responding" list.

Thanks, I'll drop them a line in the morning and post back how it goes.

The linke to the windows update is dead. Is this a released update? The latest I see in the downloads is version 6.0. I'm running into this problem and need this update. I'll search the forums some more.

The file doesn't appear to be on the ftp site. I've reported the broken link to Cisco and will post back when I get a message it's been fixed.

Here is the patch for Windows that worked on my system from TAC!

Any chance I could get that file?

Dude!

It is already attached to the post I made before.

But, here it is again!

Thanks - What is the little expires message next to the attachment? The old one said 1-23 which made me think it would no longer be available.
