ROMMON image download problem on Cisco 2600

We need to download ios to cisco 2620 router via xmodem.We write the command :

rommon 7 > xmodem -cr c2600-i-mz.123-1.bin

Do not start the sending program yet...

Invoke this application only for disaster recovery.

Do you wish to continue? y/n [n]: y

Ready to receive file c2600-i-mz.123-1.bin ...

CCCCCCCCCCBB0BB0

Timeout waiting for data - aborting download...

What is the problem we cant send the ios via xmodem?

Make sure you have your bps set to 9600

On a 2600 you do not have to xmodem check out this link
