Route switch Module Hostname(Boot) ??

After restarting the 5005, my route switch has (boot) after the hostname. Can someone tell me why?

it means your in boot mode.

The RSM could not load the IOS.

Check the config register value, and make sure you have sth like 0x2102 (make sure it is not a 1 at the end).

Also check that you have a valid ios software that the RSM can download.

Try to connect to the console and do a reset to collect the error messages during the boot
