Hello. I am trying to configure a 2901 router to act as NTP server on my network.
This set "ntp master" in the router.
I have no possibility to access an NTP server on the Internet.
# show ntp Associations

Now I want to configure a Windows 2003 DC to update the time from the NTP Server (router 2901).
But I have some doubts:
In Windows 2003, the registry value "NtpServer" may have to be IP addresses or FQDN? (In my case I put router_ip_address, 0x1) 0x1 = use this "SpecialPollInterval" to update the time?
In the router I have this debug:
Sep 20 20:05:50.655: NTP message received from W2K3_SERVER_IP on interface 'GigabitEthernet0 / 1' (ROUTER_2901_IP).
Sep 20 20:05:50.655: NTP Core (DEBUG): ntp_receive: message received
Sep 20 20:05:50.655: NTP Core (DEBUG): ntp_receive: peer is 0x00000000, next action is 3.
Sep 20 20:05:50.655: NTP Core (DEBUG): ntp_receive: doing fast answer to client.
Sep 20 20:05:50.655: NTP message sent to W2K3_SERVER_IP, from interface 'GigabitEthernet0 / 1' (ROUTER_2901_IP).
Where you can find that these actions mean "next action is 3"??
In Event Log in Windows 2003 DC receipt Event ID 35:
The time service is now synchronizing the system time with the time source ROUTER2901_IP (ntp.m | 0x1 | W2K3_SERVER_IP: 123 -> ROUTER2901_IP: 123).
Configure "SpecialPollInterval" in 10 seconds.
But the time on the Windows Server 2003 DC continuous five minutes ahead of time compared to the 2901 router.
What am I doing wrong? or how I can check if it is working or not?

Windows. 2003 uses sntp, not ntp. Not going to work.

Windows server 2003 is supposed to support NTP:
