Hello,
I have a router that seems to have had its flash memory wiped and is stuck in the rommon prompt.
I have a identical router which is working fine. Is there a way to transfer the file(s) I need from the rotuer that is working to the one that is not?
And how would I go about it? Hooking it up and the commands?
Thanks in advance

Check out this link http://cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps274/products_tech_note09186a008009429f.shtml
Hope that your other router has a PCMCIA flash card in it.

Dave,
If you don't have a flash card, just follow the following instructions for the tftpdnld.
Just connect to the two devices with a cross-over cable. Give them IP's in the same range on the connected interfaces. TFTP the sucker off the good one on to the bad one.

I think the 3700s do no support tftpdnld (though the command seem to appear under rommon), so you will have to do an Xmodem. I would suggest you to do an XModem with an IP Only image (approx 6 MB size) and once you do this, you can use "copy tftp flash" command to download the required IOS to the flash and delete the IP Only image.
Hope that helps!
