I currently have a router that is an LP state. I am not showing the serial interface being in loopback (loopback not set) when I do a show interface cmd. Is there something I need to do to clear it out of an LP state?
If your interface is not showing as being looped but your LED is showing as amber, there is a good chance that your provider may have put a loop on the line to test the circuit and they did not take it off.
