RSPAN and C4000

The C4000 CatOS configuration guide says that "RSPAN supervisor engine requirements are as follows:

For source switches—Any Catalyst 4000 family switch supervisor engine

For destination or intermediate switches—Any Catalyst 4000 family or Catalyst 6000 family switch supervisor engine".

Can other type switch be the intermediate or destination switch?

Hi,

I have not set up practically but it should work with any intermediate or destination switch except 2950.I would suggest you to try that out in lab using 3550 and it should work.
