Both routers has configured over ppp, crc 16

But the ppp negotiation never complete. The debug ppp negotiation output is:

In your case check whether the Vsat link is always up.

In your debug output whether PPP is establishing and are you able to see this output in the debug ppp negotiation

*Mar 1 00:06:36.665: Se:1 PPP: Phase is ESTABLISHING

If so physical layer is up and next the LCP negotiation begins

In your debug output Timeout message appears in the LCP state, which I think the link is getting disconnected.

What kind of PPP authentication you are using?

If you are using CHAP try it with PAP and check whether the timeout is due to authentication problem.

Most Probably the link is not stable or some mismatch in parameters between the two routers.

Check the following link for debug output and comare yours with this one.

Yes, thanks a lot.

the problem is on the sat link.
