My Cisco 2504 WLC just lost power and rebooted itself. When the device was fully powered and booted, it started running the original profile configuration I created when I first powered on the device from the manufacturer. How can I save the running config profile to be the profile that is used when the device boots?

HI,
If you are using the gui, you use the Save Configuration option located on the top right corner of the page. If using the CLI, you use Save Config command.
Thanks

Hello ,
If you make a change and you don't save the config and then power cycle the controller, the changes you made are not saved and the controller will boot up to the last saved configuration.
On the CLI, the saved config can be seen by issuing a dir or show flash. Changes made but not saved is in memory.
Issue save configuration on cli to make it saved in WLC.
Hope it Helps..
