SDSL line - works partially

hello I have a curious issue

we installed a SDSL line with a Cisco 828 router, running IOS 12.2(15)T12

this router is managed by Belgacom so I can not access the config

the router is in transparent mode there's no NAT and no filtering

all packets are forwarded to the public IP that should be set on our internal firewall.

the Internet connection seems OK but some things do not work.

I connected my comp behin the router with the public IP address. here again I got the internet, can browse, download, ping etc...

but when I try to connect to a terminal server the connection begin then fail. (I do reach the server, but when it should display the remote logon screen it is black then disconnect)

I tried many terminal servers, in both US and europe and no way... the same TSs work normally if I connect the same computer behind another Internet connection...

Belgacom answer me it cannot be the router cause this one only transfer packets... but where can I look ???

I investigated the packet fragmentation and reduce the MTU on my PC but it does not change anything...

any idea ?
