Set static MAC's on 2924

Hi

I am new to this but am trying to set static MAC addresses on individual ports on a 2924C-XL. I have been using the following command:

<config>mac-address-table static 0006.1bca.63b8 fa0/4 vlan 1

The router accepts the command fine but when I view the MAC address table I get the following output for static addresses:

Static Address Table:

Destination Address VLAN Input Port Output Ports

------------------- ---- ---------- -------------

0006.1bca.63b8 1 Fa0/1

1 Fa0/2

1 Fa0/3

1 Fa0/4

1 Fa0/5

The static MAC is being assigned to port 1 correctly as shown, instead to port 4 as desired. Can anyone enlighten me as to why this may be?

Thanks

Simon

Sorry, the output of the MAC address table did not come out as expected, basically the static MAC is being set to port FA0/1 and nothing on FA0/4
